About the work
“Traces of Chaos” tells the story of those moments in life when everything seems confused and disordered, yet something beautiful gradually emerges from the disorder itself.
The copper base symbolizes time and memories — shining, yet covered with folds and marks. The crumpled form resembles fabric that has been crushed but not destroyed. Every fold holds a trace of an experience.
The bright orange splashes symbolize energy, impulse, and the desire for change. Black represents difficult moments and doubts, while white and silver represent the hope and clarity that appear within the chaos.
The artwork has no single center toward which the viewer’s eye is directed. Instead, the eye moves between the folds, lines, and colors — just as a person moves through different moments in life. The message is that chaos is not always destruction; sometimes it is the beginning of a new form.
