About the work
Deep beneath the waves, in a place where the ocean keeps its secrets, lived a little sea princess named Lumea. Instead of a crown, she wore a tail of copper scales that shimmered like a sunset on the water. Each scale held a memory — a child’s laughter, dream, or wish.
One stormy night, the sea carried away her most precious song. To find it again, Lumea sent a piece of her magic to the shore. That is how this painting appeared — a sign that the ocean always listens to children’s dreams.
The silver tail symbolizes moonlight dancing on the waves, while the copper scales carry warmth, courage, and the beauty of being different. It is said that if a child whispers a wish in front of the painting at night, the sea will carry it all the way to the stars.
