About the work
This painting is a physical expression of the dualism we all carry within ourselves. It was born from a desire to give form to the collision between raw matter and ethereal light.
The Foundation: I used deep, saturated black and a heavy texture to recreate the chaos and density of the night. These are the earthly elements—those moments of silence where everything feels still and solid. The relief is intentionally rugged, allowing you to feel the weight of the darkness beneath your fingertips.
The Silver Reflections: These emerge as a sudden enlightenment. The silver doesn't just cover the black; it fights with it, embedding itself into the crevices. It represents the light that finds a way to break through even the densest structures.
