About the work
This piece explores the concept of Earth’s hidden, primal energy. The matte black void represents the abyss—the primordial, dark Mother Earth, vast and immovable. The lower, heavily textured gold is not merely a metallic sheen, but the planet’s fossilized magma; the "blood of the Earth," so concentrated and intense that it has transmuted into gold.
These are the ancient roots from which the Sun itself is fed, surging from the deepest, darkest depths to ignite life. It is the energy that lies beneath our feet—ever-present, heavy with history, and waiting to erupt into light.
